Jonathan Waller
Jonathan Waller has maintained an active trial practice for over 35 years, representing plaintiffs and defendants in class actions, commercial disputes and other complex civil litigation in the Southeast and across the United States. Mr. Waller is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Mr. Waller established Waller Law Office, PC effective December 1, 2013. Mr. Waller’s practice now focuses on representing both individual and corporate plaintiffs and defendants in business litigation in Alabama and in the Southeast.
Mr. Waller previously co-founded the Campbell and Waller litigation firm in Birmingham, Alabama, where he also practiced in the area of business tort, complex civil litigation and class action matters. Mr. Waller's class action experience includes insurance, product liability, medical device, pharmaceutical, deceptive trade practice, and other commercial matters. Mr. Waller has served as lead counsel in a variety of class actions.
Mr. Waller began his career with Smith, Gambrell and Russell in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1975 in defense-oriented litigation. Later, Mr. Waller joined the Birmingham, Alabama firm Haskell, Slaughter, Young & Rediker. Mr. Waller also served as an attorney to a former Commissioner of the Federal Trade Commission where he participated in both consumer and antitrust areas. Throughout his career, Mr. Waller has successfully tried a wide variety of cases, representing plaintiffs and defendants in contractual, business tort and other commercial matters, as well as various claims involving the insurance industry. He has secured a number of million dollar verdicts in behalf of plaintiffs.

Tracy H. Slaughter
Ms. Slaughter is of counsel to Waller Law Office. She received her juris doctor degree, summa cum laude, from the Cumberland School of Law. Tracy was the valedictorian of her 1990 class. Ms. Slaughter assists Mr. Waller in representing both individuals and businesses in commercial and corporate litigation. Ms. Slaughter has longstanding and varied experience in complex commercial litigation, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death, class actions, class actions, physician buyout disputes, business torts, Uniform Commercial Code and breach of warranty matters. She also has represented waste management companies and landfill owners and operators with regard to environmental regulatory and litigation matters, and has experience defending architects, engineers, design-builders, developers, home inspectors and general contractors. Ms. Slaughter is a member of the Alabama State Bar and the State Bar of Georgia.
